The personal data you provide when you use our online offers is processed in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and other legal provisions. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, address, telephone number, date of birth or e-mail address). In principle, you can use our online offer without providing your personal data. You will need to provide personal data if you want to use certain offers such as subscribing to our newsletters. In the case of transactions, e.g. secure payments via our partner (Stripe), none of your transaction-specific personal data is disclosed to us. As a result, personal data is not processed systematically, but only under certain conditions and for certain purposes. We reserve the right to adjust this statement from time to time and if necessary. Please check it regularly.

For what purposes is personal data processed?

Provision of the online offer for users | Data security and optimisation of the online offer | Personalisation of the online offer for users of the online offer | Sending newsletters by e-mail | Sending notifications via SMS or push notifications via our various mobile applications | Data security of users of the online offer

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

Insofar as we ask for your consent to the processing of personal data, this consent serves as the legal basis. We also process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, which include in particular the provision and optimisation of our online offer. Insofar as the processing of personal data is subject to a legal obligation, the legal basis for this is the legal obligation. These include, for example, obligations related to the transfer of personal data to third parties, the storage period or the retention period.

Is personal data passed on to third parties?

In principle, we only pass on your personal data to third parties if we have your consent or there is a legitimate interest on our part. We may also pass on data to third parties if we are obliged to do so by law or by an enforceable administrative or judicial decision. We use service providers for data processing. As a rule, these service providers are commissioned as processors and are obliged to comply with our instructions when processing the personal data of users of our online offer. For example, your e-mail address may be forwarded to a service provider so that they can send you the newsletter to which you have subscribed. We also pass on personal data to third parties or processors who are based outside Switzerland or countries in the EU or EEA. In this case, we check whether the recipient offers an adequate level of data protection before disclosing the data.

How long is personal data kept?

We store your data for as long as it is necessary for the provision of our online offer and the corresponding services or because of our legitimate interest in storing this data. In all other cases, we delete your personal data, except for data that we are required to retain in accordance with our legal obligations (e.g. obligation to retain).
